This holiday season, we celebrated Camden’s first Christmas! It was so much fun seeing him open up all of his gifts. Cam turned 6 months old in December, and this has been my favorite age yet! He has always been a happy boy, but he is so much more interactive now. His shrills and shrieks fill my heart with so much joy when I see how excited he is.
For Christmas this year, I didn’t want to spend too much time worrying about what to get him for Christmas. We have a lot of family, and he is only 6 months old. That still did not keep me from stressing anyways while planning to make his first Christmas the best Christmas.
Cam got a ton of toys for Christmas. Below I have highlighted some of my favorites!

Camden’s Tia got him this Counting Lion toy and I am in love with it! It counts in 4 different languages: English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. He doesn’t quite understand how to put the balls in the lion’s mouth just yet, but I love how diverse this toy is. I have never seen one quite like this before, and he loves pressing his button!
Alden’s parents bought him this sit to stand walker, and Camden has been lovin’ it. The walker comes with a toy attachment that can be removed for baby to play with while sitting on the floor. He has tried pushing the walker (with my help) but he is just not quite ready for is. He likes taking the telephone rattle and shaking it around. It is one of my favorite gifts he had gotten this year.
My Brother and Sister-in-law got Camden this laugh and learn dog. He really likes holding it and chewing on his big ears. My sister-in-law said my niece loved this toy when she was a baby, and I’m glad they got it for him.
Camden’s first Christmas was crazy, if not stressful at times. But like always, it was a lot of fun. We are so blessed to be around so much family that are so involved in our lives. At times, it didn’t go exactly how I planned. But in life, is so very rarely does. It was still the best first Christmas and I’m so thankful we got to enjoy it with our families. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
